I had my first white Bratwurst in Zermatt switzerland 2001, I had try every Bratwurst from every store where I could find Bratwurst. Until my friend live in Philly found me Bratwurst from Rieker's, I know that this was a real one.

Guten tag! I have to hand it to you, the website looks fantastic! Just wanted to let you know that working there with everyone (including Alex) was a blast and I learned a lot (like how to clean the ceiling and walls!) bought a 30$ brisket there, when i got home and opened it, wasnt exactly what i asked for, called marcus{owner} the next day and he took it right back and gave me what i wanted and then some. what service. i would recommend stopping in. by they way the brisket turned out excellent. thanks marcus

Wow! My father took me there to pick up some special items for our easter meal. I was so impressed with EVERYTHING in the store.It brought back memories of the meals my german mom use to make. (she has passed on a few years ago) The staff was patient,and eager to help. The food was fantastic. I will try to always make a point of going to the store whenever I can visit my father.

I met a fellow named Helmut Baerwald on a flight home from Germany in 1987 he told of the Riekers Meats. Since then Mr. Rieker has always greeted me with a big smile and I’ve have never been disappointed in the quality of the their food or service. Friends and family are always happy to here i am making my trip to Riekers because they know soon they will enjoy fabulous German food.

We knew Walter when he worked in Uncle Otto's deli at Rising Sun & Cheltenham Aves. Our son Tom, now 51, was the delivery boy and brought orders - either by red wagon or bike - to customers. We remember well when Ursula "emerged", when Markus was born and not much later Caroline. Then - it came as a shock to us - Walter took his business to Fox Chase. It was close to a hardship to lose a great little store that offered quality und was in walking distance. It took us a while to, reluctantly, visit the Fox Chase location. The difference overwhelmed us, and, for years now, we're averaging one visit in ten days. The whole Rieker family knows us, and Walter's "Hello, Herr Kranz, wie geht's?" puts the dot on the i.

I've been a fan of Rieker's for years. I went there when I lived in Abington. I've been "down the shore" for the past 13 years and I still make the 2 hour trek to get my Rieker's fix.
